This is not a secure, single sign on application as it is advertised to be. This is a menu of hyperlinks to webpages that launch in a browser. Even for applications that have an actual app, like VA Video Connect, this app opens the browser even if you have the VA Video Connect app installed on your phone. The most heavily used bit of VAs online tools, Secure Messaging, is still only available as a webpage via a browser which is impossible to read/use on a phone. I want a secure messaging app with notifications on my phone! DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH THIS APP!

I was ex something a bit more direct rather than using my browser all the time and logging into the VA health portal. This app is just an extra step. If you want to contact your health care team it will send you to the VA portal on the web browser. Want to refill an rx, send a secure message? Same thing. Skip this step if you like and use your browser.

So you want me to give you access to all of my phones health data and then make it convoluted to access the health record in the VA system? This sounds lackluster at best. I then sorted the reviews, the top reviews are likely fake and are from the user fffggggkkkiii or some bs like that. The other reviews are creative names. I’m gonna go out on a limb and just say the top reviews are “fake news.” Something tells me I won’t be wasting my time and deleting this app

All that I see of the reviews is one writer who says he/she expected more than just another step to communicate (3 stars) — still have to use a web browser (paraphrased). The rest of the accessible reviews basically all say, don’t use this app!!! So. What did I do? I did the math. The Veterans all say: 3, 1, 1, 1,1 ...., which is much less than 3 stars, let alone 2+ I simply uninstalled the app and didn’t even open it.
