My 13 and 16 year old asked to try this app for their allowances. I think we signed up on a Sunday and I got messages on Monday that their cards were shipped and on their way. It took about 9 days to receive them, which isn’t too bad considering how behind everything is nowadays. The app itself is pretty straightforward and easy to use. I like that you can assign chores but also have the option to just transfer funds without having to assign anything. That came in handy when my kids handed me cash and asked me to put it on their cards. This is where my only problem with the app lies. If you have money in your account, a transfer to your child is instant. That’s great! But getting money transferred from your bank into your account takes forever! Secondly, you can schedule allowances but YOU CANNOT SCHEDULE CHORES! That’s right! Let’s say you want your kid to take out the trash every day. You’d need to create that chore EVERYTIME you want them to do so, because once they’re done and check it off the list in the app… there’s no getting it back! This is a dealbreaker for me, and a necessity on day one for an app like this. I wanted to incentivize recurring scheduled chores, not just list one offs and schedule allowances. Why w...
