Description
The Troy Turkey Trot App allows runners and walkers from anywhere to race each other in real time and continue the tradition of the nations 12th oldest road race over the Thanksgiving weekend. The app can be used for any of our 4 events: the 10k, 5k, Grade School Mile and Turkey Walk Mile. After downloading the app and claiming their profile runners and walkers can create teams, link to friends and family who are participating and get event info. The app is loaded with features like live GPS tracking, interactive maps and verbal split cues at each mile.

    Great app! I loved that I could stay connected even when not on the actual course. The mile pace updates and tidbits about the actual course kept me motivated!

    According to the race website, you need to “Claim your Profile”. How? Also cannot start a “practice run” on the app.
