    Fair credit to the developer, I have no issue with one-time notifications or similar however user-error on my part made it "undismissable". That was my bad and I appreciate the clarification.

    the advertisement was on the sleep as android home screen, for some fitness related app or service. when I cleared it, it said I'd removed a "promo" card from the home screen. I have the pro unlock. if you sort your own reviews by most recent, you'll see I'm not the only one suddenly complaining about ads in the pro version.
