This upgrade has an error it assumes car odometer is reading Kilometers & convert it to miles; although the car is set to read in miles. Don’t be surprised if you are in the USA to see the odometer reading in the app is different than the car odometer reading. Just multiply the App reading by 1.61 and you will get the same value as the car odometer. Porsche needs to fix this version of the App.

I currently own 9 Porsches including a Taycan Turbo. I also have owned over 25 Porsches over the years. Love the Taycan car but hate the car PCM software and the supporting applications like this one. Too many bugs. This is the first time where Porsche releases a product that is unfinished and needs major refinement. If porsche is serious about hybrid and electrical technology, they need to refine this application and the car PCM. As an example I have to wait for 20 minutes or longer, waiting for the e-stations to display on the map in this app, so I could select the charging station so I could charge my car, forcing me often to just pay for the charging with credit card, after getting tired of fiddling with this app to display the charging station. They appear then disappear as quickly as they appear, rendering the porsche advertised 3 yr free charging useless since you can’t easily access it through this app. This is not the Porsche I know and have known for so many years and grew to...

It is simply unbelievable that I would purchase a $130,000 Porsche Taycan and then have to wait around five to ten minutes before this app decides to display the charging station so I can kick off my charge, which is itself 20-30 minutes. It’s great that Porsche provides free charging, but with all the hassle of charging it greatly detracts from the experience of having a Taycan. I can start charging on my own at home, but that doesn’t help me when I’m on the road. Then there is the other Charging NA app which works better for finding and initiating a charge, but why should there be two apps that do the same thing? Get your act together Porsche, or demand more from whatever partner builds this terrible app!
