I’ve been using this app and the lightbulb that it controls for almost two years now. The app is a bit unpredictable. Sometimes it fails to recognize the lightbulb and I have to unplug the cord it’s connected to and plug it back in. I probably do this once a week. I would also appreciate a dark theme for the app because I mostly use it at night and the white background is a bit blinding. Perhaps a new design overall. Overall the app gets the job done, but I wouldn’t say it is smooth or 100% reliable. I open the app daily knowing that it may not work and I would much rather know that it is going to work every time.

Timer option only has “modify” and “delete” when there was also “disable/enable” before. Now I cannot enable my timer but have to delete and set it again.

The color gradient functions are a great touch. The variety of functionality is great. Though the UI of the app is more basic than most, the functionality has been lovely so far. Great work to the developers, from a software engineer.

Any time I open the app now, individual bulbs do not show up in the menu. I can still turn all lights on and off together, but not individually. I’m worried to uninstall and reinstall that it won’t pair to the bulbs anymore since it can’t seem to find them. Will there be an update to fix this issue?

I’ve been able to pair to the bulb once, after waiting for a while for it to actually show up in the app, and after 2 days it unpaired the bulb and hasn’t been discoverable since. The other Flux Apps work very well, but I’m planning on returning and switching to a different brand due to the frustration from trying to simply make this product work at all.
