Description
The technologies we use today, from our everyday appliances, cell phones, even our cars, emit electromagnetic radiation & EM radiation that can penetrate and affect us, seriously compromising our health and disturbing our environments. When you come to magnetic radiation, the body is as easily penetrated as air. This means if you are near a powerful EMF, electromagnetic radiation isn’t just around you, it’s inside you. Your body’s electrical signals are well within the range of those that can be stimulated by ambient radio waves, microwaves and other forms of electromagnetic radiation. That harmful, unnatural type of stimulation can seriously impact your body. How can I find out what EMF levels I'm exposed to at home and at work? Now you can find out thanks to a new app for iPhone..EMF Radiation Detector! EMF Radiation Detector is very simple to use: open the app and your iPhone will begin to detect the electromagnetic fields nearby, showing you whether or not if these are dangerous to your health. Do not endanger in vain your health, download EMF Radiation Detector from the App Store and find out which electronic devices can be dangerous for your body. EMF Radiation Detector is compatible with iOS 7.1 or later. To ensure the accuracy of the data keep the iPhone away from metal objects, magnets and speakers.

This is a toy that works well for anything with a magnet in it, which is why I give it an average star. However, everything written in the description is misleading. I won't spend time discussing how so. But test it anywhere that has a magnet, it will spike. The stronger the magnet the more it'd spike. It's only detecting "magnetic fields" not "EMF" using the accelerometer or maybe gyroscope within the iPhone device. There's a diff between the two.

This app seems to effectively detect electromagnetic radiation in the range of radio waves and magnetism. When I bring a magnet close to my phone, the detector goes nuts into the high range. Also responds strongly to my automotive “keyless” key, which presumably emits radiation in the RF range. Responds moderately when placed next to my digital video recorder, which sends RF signals to my wireless earphones. No response over baseline when place next to my wi-fi router. And no response at all when placed next to a hunk of uranium ore. The developer needs to clarify exactly what EMF frequency ranges this detects. Seems to be more of a magnetism detector, which makes sense, since the units are micro-Teslas, a unit used to measure magnetic fields. This app, however, is definitely worth downloading and experimenting with.

So, I downloaded the app in hopes to measure the amount of beta/alpha decay in my 100mgs of 99.9% pure uranium 238 metal and the reading was lost in the mix. I did find out the springs in my bed are very magnetic, but I wouldn’t say it’s accurate for radiation. I did however get extreme metal reading from my pure nickel metal, which also attracts magnets strongly, so it definitely detects magnetism.

So i have a EMF reader that i just got today, And i was comparing the app to the real EMF reader it does red on the real emf reader when my laptop is near it and orange going to red on the app if u cant afford an EMF reader then get this app i gave it a 3 out of 5 cause its not totally accurate but it works for a Substitute but otherwise you should get the real thing. -Vega
