The ecobee Smart Thermostat is a WiFi enabled programmable thermostat that has a full-color LCD touch screen and easy-to-use interface. Our product integrates heating, cooling, ventilation, energy management and utility demand response. The ecobee iPhone and iPod Touch application allows you to control all your Smart Thermostats from anywhere at anytime. It looks and operates just like your ecobee Smart Thermostat at home. You can now use this application to remotely adjust the thermostat’s temperature, schedule or update a vacation event, change the system and/or fan operating settings and receive alerts. Load the application and when prompted use your existing ecobee web portal user name and password to log in.

    While I love the ability to control my thermostats from my iPhones, iPads, and Macs, the app is very clunky and the interface is NOT slick like iOS apps should be. Please give us a real native app, not this web app! The interface of the thermostat itself, while not fantastic, is way slicker than this app.

    The ecobee provides several conveniences and money saving options. It's been working great for us. As someone who works from a home office, my schedule changes daily. This gives me the convenience of adjusting the thermostat for days I'm on the road and for days I'm in the office all day. There are several limitations to this app that I think could be improved upon (which is why I gave it four stars). It would be nice to change the program schedule through the app. Other than that, great device.
