Description
For parents and caregivers of children with cancer. The Children’s Oncology Group (COG) created the KidsCare App for parents and caregivers. It provides a place for you to get and keep the information you need while caring for a child with cancer. Creating an Account Creating an account allows you to store your own notes, information, appointments, and/or phone numbers in the App. You will also be able to sync your information across multiple devices. If you don’t create an account, you will still be able to access content in the App, and you can always create an account later. Home The Home Tab provides quick access to all features within the App: • Caring for your child • Appointment tracking • Journaling • One-touch dialing • Emergency Room Card Info The Info Tab includes all of the information from the Children’s Oncology Group’s New Diagnosis Guide and Family Handbook, including all illustrations. This information – along with the information you receive from your healthcare team – is designed to help you understand your child’s illness and treatment, and learn what you need to know to care for your child at home. Journal In the Journal, you can track your child’s lab results, weight, height, vital signs, and treatments, and make notes for your healthcare providers. You can also instantly convert lab values and vital signs from Conventional to Metric or SI measurement units, and graph them onto charts. My Team In the My Team tab, you can conveniently store contact information for members of your child’s hospital and healthcare team.

All the information right at my fingertips! I love how I can quickly access my child’s information in case of emergency. My type-A self uses the journal to track all types of data, you can even graph things like counts!
