Despite having Bluetooth and notifications on, the app only lets me know the washer and dryer are done about half the time. After the last update the look had changed and it showed a time left per machine, but now the old look is back and when it doesn’t send a notification it’s easy to lose track. Also, in the usage history, the times are a good two hours off.

This app is only useful in not having to carry cards around. It lightens the load. Technically speaking, this app is really poor while functioning. It never lets me know which washers are taken so more than half the time it’s like I have to “guess” when washers are even available. For a period of time I saw the new changes to the app and then the next day I went to wash clothes it was back to the same old set up which was really frustrating. I was looking towards a new change. In addition to this, there is a lot of connectivity issues in which it won’t pick up the washing machine. This company takes a really long time to fix problems and my building was out of two washing machines for a couple of months so we have 8 washing machine that needs to serve 126 families in the building. They should’ve requested stacked washing machines to our building management to make it more convenient for the families who live in the building.

I am 100% convinced this service is a scam. Every single time I try to do laundry, either the washer or the dryer doesn’t work (it’s usually the dryer). Every. Single. Time. I use different machines to try to avoid the ones that haven’t worked for me in the past, but none of them consistently work - they’ve all failed me before. So doing laundry is like playing Russian Roulette, trying to guess which one is going to work. When it inevitably fails, I usually request a refund, though there have been multiple instances in which it tells me I already have a request processing, so it won’t let me request another. When I can request it, it is usually deleted by an admin and not refunded. They are easily getting twice as much money from me through their faulty service. I understand that maintenance isn’t the software’s fault, but the constant deletion of refund requests when machines don’t work is a blatant slap in the face, especially when you can’t even speak to anyone about it.

My apartment complex uses this app for its laundry rooms, and yikes. If it doesn’t immediately connect with the machine it’s looking for it just… stops, no error message or anything. And then sometimes it does, you verify you do want to pay money for the thing, and then… something happens? Except nothing does, the machine doesn’t start, and it doesn’t tell you why. It’s… hilariously bad. I have spent upwards of 20 minutes at times trying to figure out why the thing won’t just take my money, juggling the plug, trying again and again, and there’s no way of knowing if it’s an app problem or a hardware problem bc there’s no communication from the app except to log a support issue… except that won’t dry my towels. When it works it’s great, but more often than not I’m tearing my hair out because it just won’t. Suffice it to say I hate this and, from one software developer to another, am disappointed.

This system is not one that I recommend. This is supposed to be a convenient way of getting your laundry done but there is no convenience when the machines constantly break down and take extra money from your account. I started washing yesterday and the app completely shut down and still more than 24 hours has not started functioning again. I had 3 loads of wet clothes in the washer and 1 in the dryer and was not able to add money to my card because the app logs you out and won’t let you log in sending an error message that says “your phone is not connected to the internet” when it is. So now I’m here still trying to log in with 4 loads of wet clothes and no solution or a contact number to contact customer service. Such an inconvenience. Now I’ve wasted money that could’ve been used at the regular laundry-mat.
