It’s a good, simple to use app. Have been using it for about 10 months. I would recommend the app to anyone new to running. Would have given it 5 stars but unfortunately the developers have just updated the app so that the “auto pause” function is no longer available with the free version of the app. It is now only available with the premium subscription version. So if you run in an area where you frequently have to stop to cross a busy road you can no longer get an accurate measure of your actual moving or running time. Shame and a bit cynical really. Still Ok though if you run in the country and don’t need to stop anywhere. So from now on trying to compare my run times with all my previous times is a bit pointless.

I have been using this app for almost 7 years. However since my last renewal it’s become useless. The GPS is totally random. The start and end points are the only elements that are correct is I ran the way the GPS tracks me I’d stop running completely. At times it has me crossing 4 lane dual carriageways, on the other side of 8 foot fences, across train tracks, in the middle of forests, and apparently my latest is to run in water! I can understand that the GPS will not be totally accurate however every run has me on multiple occasions 50 to 100m away from where I actually ran. As a result this has resulted in my times being somewhere close to what a certain Mr Bolt could run. The only part of this app I now trust is the total duration. Nothing else! I spent time and effort trying to better my run times, my km split times etc now these records are gone as this app thinks I’m Mr Bolt. If you want a good total run timer this could be the app for you. But if you want any split times, or ac...

I came to the Adidas Running app as their competitor Nike ditched without warning the ability to plan a full schedule of Itemised running for a specific purpose such a training for a race many weeks away but even tho I’d have been happy to have paid for this excellent function and as Nike have steadfastly ignored many such comments I made the move to Adidas. It’s taken a bit of time to get used to the “American sounding vocals” and the set up, but so far so good. I would have liked the facility to know my training plan would amend itself in line with my ability or not to stick to the bespoke training plan as due to injury I’ve not completed a couple of the end of week long runs. Would also like to see the text size a tad bigger in the app, but that’s an aspiration as the default is adequate. I think the annual subscription is of value as I can also set up a strength training plan independent of the run plan. So after a couple of months I’d be happy to recommend both apps, but as...

Have been using the old runtastic ap for the last 4 years and I absolutely loved it, all my data in there (running 6 days a week ) then I start to get a heavy push to upgrade to the new ap, which I ignored but eventually it just happened and it just doesn’t work. Crashed every time I used it , have had to reinstall it 3 times , last running data and I had to input manually and I’ve just seen that it messed up data from previous runs incorrectly logging the date. A company the size of Adidas it can’t be beyond the bounds for them to develop an I phone ap that works can it. As much as I loved the old run tastic I have to move to another ap that works. Gutted......
